The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has invited applications for the Common Recruitment Process CRP CSA-XVI, for recruitment of Customer Service Associates (clerical cadre) in Participating Public Sector Banks against vacancies of 2027-28. Jammu & Kashmir has 67 vacancies of its own. Clerical recruitment in public sector banks is done State/UT-wise, so a candidate may apply for one State or UT only and must sit the examination at a centre in that State or UT. Online registration is open from 01 August to 21 August 2026 at ibps.in.

What we're looking for

• Graduation in any discipline from a university recognised by the Government of India, with the degree or marksheet dated on or before 21 August 2026
• Age 20 to 28 years as on 01.08.2026 - born between 02.08.1998 and 01.08.2006, both dates inclusive
• Age relaxation: SC/ST 5 years, OBC (NCL) 3 years, PwBD 10 years, as per rules
• Computer literacy - operating and working knowledge is essential
• Proficiency in the official language of the State/UT applied for. For Jammu & Kashmir this is Urdu or Hindi - candidates must be able to read, write and speak it
• Application fee: Rs 850 for General, OBC and EWS; Rs 175 for SC, ST, PwBD, ESM and DESM
• Scale of pay (basic): Rs 24,050 - 1340/3 - 28,070 - 1650/3 - 33,020 - 2000/4 - 41,020 - 2340/7 - 57,400 - 4400/1 - 61,800 - 2680/1 - 64,480, plus allowances as per the rules of the participating bank
