The app itself has no account

You do not sign in to browse jobs here, and the app stores no profile about you. If you have only ever used the app or this website to read listings, there is no account to delete — uninstalling the app stops everything immediately, and the only record left is the server log described below, which deletes itself.

If you created a Wath account from a link in this app

The app links out to wath.in, where a job seeker or employer can create an account. Those accounts live on Wath, operated by the same company, Netshell Software Solutions. Deleting one removes the account and the data attached to it.

How to request deletion

Email info@jobsinkashmir.in from the email address on the account, with the subject “Delete my account and data”.
Tell us the registered email address or mobile number so the account can be identified. We may ask one question to confirm it is yours — this is to stop someone else deleting your account.
We delete it and reply to confirm, within 30 days and usually much sooner.

You do not need the app installed to make this request, and there is no charge.

What is deleted

Your account and sign-in details.
Your name, email address, phone number and any profile details.
Your CV or résumé and every saved version of it.
Saved jobs, job alerts and any notification preferences.
Skill-test attempts and any badges earned from them.

What is kept, and for how long

Some records cannot be removed by us, and we would rather say so plainly than promise otherwise:

Applications you already sent to an employer. Once you apply, that employer holds their own copy under their own policy. Ask the employer directly.
Records an employer created about you — for example a confirmed hire. These belong to that employer's hiring record, not to your profile.
Payment and invoice records, where a payment was made. Indian tax and accounting law requires these to be retained; they are kept for the statutory period and used for nothing else.
Server logs (IP address, page requested, time, browser type), which delete themselves 90 days after the visit.

Anything kept is disconnected from your deleted profile and is not used to contact you or to build any picture of you.

Deleting only some data, without closing your account

You do not have to delete the whole account. Email info@jobsinkashmir.in with the subject “Delete some of my data”, say which account it is (registered email or mobile) and what you want removed — your CV, your phone number, your test attempts, anything. We remove exactly that, leave the account and the rest of it alone, and confirm within 30 days.

The same limits as above apply: an application already sent to an employer, a hiring record an employer created, and invoices required by tax law stay where they are. Server logs delete themselves after 90 days regardless.

Notifications

App notifications need no deletion request: the app subscribes to one public channel shared by every install and stores nothing that identifies your device. Turn them off in your phone's settings, or uninstall the app, and they stop.
